I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the Swing Meter. Since you're encountering these issues we recommend trying the following:

    - Close other programs, browser windows and browser tabs

    - Have the wgt.com website open but minimized and not displayed

    - Play WGT in the original window size, do not maximize it to full screen

    - Turn off Reflections, Flag Animation, Background Loading, Avatar rotations, and WGT Lessons in your Options

Ignore this bit. Nothing but the game client should be in operation.

One thing I would suggest, is to bookmark the game client. Like Courteney said only have the game client open. I have it as my homepage.

Stop streaming porn.  It helps.  I mean, I heard it helps.

So true. I have no clue why someone would advise anyone to have the WGT home page open and minimized during play. That is just asking for trouble!

If you haven't already, you need to do some things at your end that will contribute to a smooth meter, beyond only having the game client open as a tab.

    1. Make sure few, if any, other applications and processes are running in the background on your computer.

    2. Use Task Manager or a CPU performance gadget to monitor your computer's CPU performance during the swing. Don't start the down swing until the CPU performance has settled down and bottomed out.. If it takes a while for your CPU to settle down you need to re-evaluate what routine preventative maintenance you do on your computer and you need to determine what is causing your CPU to stay active.

    3. Be sure you clear Flash Player before you play. In particular you should clear the Website Privacy Settings panel.

    4. Before you play clear all your browsers caches - browsing and download histories, cookies and other site and plug-in data, cached images and files, passwords, autofil data, hosted app data, etc.

    5. I run CCleaner right before I play and CCleaner usually clears about 50 Flash Player files, and that is after I have cleared out my browser. You have to set up CCleaner to clear Flash Player every time you run CCleaner.
