    Ashrahni:
Here in Australia, we see America as a joke.

Speak for yourself, but not on behalf of all Australians. This is the type of comment that fools are made of and racial tension is born of.

Lonnie used a quip in reference to you having no chance of WGT reimbursing you because of your principles - and rightly so.

As for the adverts, Australia has become well known for its advertising and graphic nature to deter drink driving.......and if one of these ads saves even 1 life, it is well worth it. If you are offended by the nature, then I am sorry, but I would rather have someone offended than someone dead for an event that is preventable.

We have become a society that panders to the politically correct regime.

Blame William Shakespeare.  He started it.

    WGTicon:

    hi

I am sorry you find these offensive. I would add that:

    1. we have no control over those ods

    2. as soon as you see something offensive, such as alcohol add, please close the browser

    3. we have no control over awarded credits as they are done via 3rd party system

I would contact that company and let them know your feelings toward these offensive ads.

    happy holidays

Thank you for your response Icon, I shall heed your advice.

Jenwren, I am not the one who told another they had lost their mind.

Some people merely have differing morals.

    Thank you again Icon.

Would you kindly remove this thread, my concerns have been answered.

    Ashrahni.

We all have, fortunately people in the states are really starting to tire of it, hopefully that's true everywhere...

Jenwren, I am not the one who told another they had lost their mind. (you quoted)

Sorry - not what I said.

    You had better read again.

As stated in another entry these Ads are created to drive home a message.

You come back to me when you have lost a family member through drink and driving and let me know how you feel then.  I can tell you exactly how it feels.

    Jenwren
