Obscene wording in ads, Live gamer

  I am appalled at the words contained with in some Live Gamer ad videos we need to view to gain credits.

  I am deeply offended and shocked to have seen such filth being run on some ads.

  I will not watch them until they are removed and I would ask WGT to credit me with free credits for the duration they run on Live Gamer carousel as I feel it is an offensive, obscene ad that is shown.

  While I find the ad important in trying to lessen the death toll from drinking to excess and drink driving, I cannot watch them without being offended.

  I am sure there is a way to show such ads without obscenity being part of it.

  I wait for WGT to step up morally and take some action regarding the ads.

  I also await the credits I lose due to not wishing to be offended by the wording contained within the ads.

  I am not a prude.

  I have only seen 2 ads for alcohol 1 for Hennessy and the other for Dewars neither did I find to be offensive . Of course I dont listen to them I have the volume turned off . But if you expect WGT to award you credits for not watching an ad , then here in the states we have a saying . " You have lost your mind " .  You dont have to watch the videos or listen to them . That is your choice You can file a complaint with C/S and if warranted WGT will do something about it . But giving you credits for nothing is not the way they do business .

  i am shocked as well. This is the first time in almost 5 years here on WGT that I have heard a complaint of this nature. Not once have I come across an ad like this.

  With that being said however, for whatever it is worth, I am sorry to hear this. I am not sure if this 'ad' is regional or not. But I hope the WGT staff looks into this matter.

  Having worked in marketing for a number of years, I have seen some pretty outrageous ads. I will be the first to admit that 'sometimes' companies push the limits to get their point across. And sometimes that line of morality gets crossed. More often than not, these types of ads are put out there to draw attention to the company, which in this case, is succeeding.

  I wish there was a way for everyone to see this video that you are speaking of. It would be much easier to voice an opinion.

  Not in this case as I refuse to watch them .

  I will assume they will be replaced in a week or so and I will for go my credits while refusing to view them. I don't know which numbered ad has the offensive ad inside so i will not watch any.

  Please excuse my language but the offending words contained are  fkcuing idiot, so I do not write this thread lightly.

  I will assume you are joking with your entry.

  If you only wish to incite an argument, please don't use a valid complaint to do so.

  I have every right to watch videos to gain credits without filth being thrown up at me while doing so.

  hi

  I am sorry you find these offensive. I would add that:

   

  1. we have no control over those ods

  2. as soon as you see something offensive, such as alcohol add, please close the browser

  3. we have no control over awarded credits as they are done via 3rd party system

  I would contact that company and let them know your feelings toward these offensive ads.

  Hi Ashrahni,

  A lot of the Ads and vids you see are Australian based and if you look you may find that they are done by the Government.  The ones I have seen are.

  Our country does have a drink and drive problem and these ads and vids are there to drive home a message.  

  So if you don't want to listen or watch them shut it off but don't ask for credits because of this.  Yes every country does have its own problems socially as well so you don't need to bring in other countries for the sake of your argument.  

  Just play the game.
