  If you're encountering these Swing Meter issues we do recommend trying the following: 

  - Close other programs, browser windows and browser tabs
  
  - Have the wgt.com website open but minimized and not displayed
  
  - Play WGT in the original window size, do not maximize it to full screen

  - Turn off Reflections, Flag Animation, Background Loading, Avatar rotations, and WGT Lessons in your Options

  Overall i'm having better luck with windows 7 than windows 8  esp. when it comes to adobe flash crashes,also try different browsers....for some reason it seems some systems and set ups work smoother with the meter with different browsers, just keep trying them all ,one will work the best. On one machine i had chrome was always late on the ding but on another it works fine,experimentation is key to a smooth meter, gl  to you.

  I have Windows 8.1 and found Comodo Dragon to be the best for me.

  Excuse me for `butting in` here.......however....

  Could this "meter passing the ding line" be  the old `pepper flash` thing causing this to happen?

  shing1...I am sure that somebody here will advise you on this....about  disabling the pepper flash if you have it......I could explain it all but I know that others could explain it far better than I could and in far fewer words....lol.

  I am not saying that is the problem but it is worth a look.
