I've been trying for five games now to play in an alternate shot game in the last hour. Every time the game gets started we play for a few shots and then someone disconnects. They never get back in again and the game is over.

This is enough of a nuisance in itself but I am also trying to get experience points for my country club. In these cases there are NO points given to me or to my cc. I have used up my free pass for these 8 hours and bought four more passes on my own.

I know that wgt is not going to fix these connectivity problems anytime soon. However all I am asking for in this posting is that you award my experience points to my cc on my behalf. That doesn't seem like too much to ask. I normally get about 1150 points each new day from playing that first round so that number would be acceptable.

I wouldn't even ask if I could get those 1150 points by playing another game tonight but those bonus points are gone now for today.

Please don't ask me to play the first game of the new day by myself so there is less risk of something like this happening. I don't play this game to play rounds by myself and alt shot is about the only kind of game I play these days, other than some cc tournaments.

Thank you so much for your help with this problem.

O.k. I won't ask you, though this is the best solution because you're not the only one to experience instable MP games.

You need not play a round of 9 or 18 since one hole in practice mode is sufficient to achieve the CDP bonus. 880 + 6 XPs + the shots that you take + CC bonus. That's 920+ XPs, quick and clean with one shot of ball life, maxing out the putts on BDU.

Ehm - sorry to bother you, I should respect your denial.

Furtheron, why do you spend credits on passes? Your CC will soon be level 9, so what would be the reward for your spendings?

Thank you for your reply, alosso. All of your comments are valid and I appreciate you taking the time to respond to the issues I raised. I did not know the information you provided about the CDP bonus being applied by my playing just one hole.

Your question about spending credits on passes is also a good one and deserves a good answer. I know that only once a day do I have a chance to contribute over 1100 points to my cc. All the other rounds I play contribute 300+ points per round. So I usually save my free pass for the first round of the "new day" so that those extra points go to my cc.

When the game craps out due to a player disconnecting there are no points awarded and my pass is gone and so is the chance to have those CDP points go to the cc. I know it's not a big deal but it does concern me a bit. Particularly because I feel there must be a better way to handle these situations where the game ends due to a disconnection.

A wise person once told me, "Don't come to the boss with a problem. Come with a solution to the problem." Unfortunately I do not have a solution to this problem since I don't understand the full scope of the issues involved or how the coding is done that applies these experience points to my account and to my cc's account.

The best answer I can give myself is to be patient and bare up with the situation. It's not like it's something of real importance to my life.

First thing to mention is, you gave no answer to the "reward" Q.
May I insist? Which rewards does your CC gain from your industry?

IMNSHO your CC needs no CC XPs. Thus I'd not care for any extra points from costly passes.

Analysing this "CC passes" thingy and watching myself, it's highly astounding how much (and illogical) we are prepared to give for the community.

This thingy appears to me as our host's credit-munging "pay for nothing" business plan  with a blatant disproportion to the detriment of the CCs and their members. See through it and your ambition may drop dramatically.

    My personal rules:

    NEVER spend credits on passes,

NEVER use one in a MP game,

one essay to give the CDP bonus XPs to the CC is enough. If it fails, try again tomorrow,

one free pass per day is enough, one hole = 900+ XPs vs. 9 holes = 230 XPs,

I play the CC clashes for fun in unison with my friends, not to win anything.

As always, to each his own fun!
