    It doesn't seem to affect my score history or stats at all.  Other than the thrill of victory when you beat someone, is there even any point?

    Pre-legend it lowers your average.  It also can be seen on your profile page (your match record, that is).

    If all you care about is a tangible score and every stroke recorded, then match is not for you.

    I don't see my wins/losses anywhere on my profile page.  I've played a ton of head-to-head games and my match record says 0-0.

    If you are talking about the 3 hole head to head on mobile, it won't show in your stats because it is not a true match play game.

    Oh, he means normal stroke play.  Unless it's on practice, those should indeed show up on your stats.
