Is it just me...or are others finding golf balls on the various courses you play?  I've found 2 of them within the past month.  Both happened to be in bunkers...while playing solo.  So is has prompted me to suggest the following...WGT implementation:

**  Whenever a player just QUITS or FORFEITS a round (by voluntarily selecting these toggle options) then the player looses his ball....i.e. it remains on the course  in the last place it was hit.

**  The next player to play that course, and hits their ball close to where the "forfeited" ball was hit...is allowed to "find" the ball...and WGT adds t to that player's equipment.

****  If you are in the rough within 7 yds of the "lost" ball...then you have found it

****  If you are in a bunker within 10 yds of the "lost" ball...then you have found it

***  If you are on the fairway within 15 yds...then you have found it

    What do you think?

    Has been similar for ages!

Apparently you have never seen those spectators picking up balls OOB or in deep rough or in water - they never miss one, and they all wear caps with this logo:

Edit: OTOH, why should they invest into a change that would lessen their revenue?
