I am at level 91 and have been for a longggggg Timmmmme, how can I ever make master? All my greens when I play are now so tight  you just can't make pars even a lot. All the balls stopping right on the lip of the cup or making s shaped brakes on flat ground. My average is 67.28 and never moves. Other people I talk to say same thing is happening to them and it's not fun anymore. Please how about some help on this. I know there are certain formulias for wind and drives and pitches but you can't get a lesson plan to learn them. I bright and 73 years old and used to build Boeing planes.

Concerning putts that stop short: Play them a tad harder - 3-4 feet excess in power is o.k.

Otherwise, nothing obvious in your profile, and you'll be promoted at an average of 67.00. As a TP, only 25 scores count towards your average. So, you need only to shave off 7 shots from the entries, any 34 score or less will help, and they will come, perhaps not tomorrow, but inevitably.

But, be careful what you wish for!

You'll be moved to the next set of tees, and it may be very challenging. Some new equipment may be due, woods and irons. Only the green speed will stay unchanged, very fast.

    Enjoy the challenge!

For some more help you should tell us where you see weak points in your game. Is it hitting the ding? Is it hitting the greens? Is it the short game with wedges? Is it only putting?

Hi, basically the game gets a lot harder when you reach Master tier, so be careful what you wish for!

Having had a look at your score history, your equipment and stats, you are not quite ready.

First the ball you use is expensive and you are not getting the most out of it with the clubs you have.

So a club upgrade would not go amiss, and higher trajectory clubs will help. I am guessing you do not want a fast meter, so clubs like the upper G25's are worth looking into.

A third wedge will also help a lot, ditch the hybrid and you will start to see your scrambling improve. You really need to focus on saving par as your GIR is only at 60%. Obviously upgraded wedges would benefit but depends on budgets.

As for the putting, greens are generally pretty reliable on speed, but always look beyond the hole - if it starts going up chances are you need a little extra ummph in the putt. Also ensure you give that extra couple of feet in your calcs - never up is never in.

The best way to learn pitches is mulligans, altering spin etc. Also remember to use punch shots - I use them all the time including from fairways, it is like having extra clubs in your bag.

Above all, just have fun, enjoy the game and do not get overly focused on your tier.

Edit: My brother from a different mother covered most of my post!

    LOL to the edit "bro"!

In fact, yours is a good extension covering the material side. But, you may buy length here but not success. Before going through the shopping routine I'd like to know something about the player...

    LOL

And yes not trying to be a salesman but clubs do help. No they do not guarantee success as one still need to learn how to use them, especially the spin, distance mapping and shot selection.

For the OP, if he wants to add me, I would happily have a round or 2 with him and offer tips etc. Not that I know much....and the more I play the less I seem to know...but the offer is open.
