  The heartbeat sound is a very favourite feature in WGT for me.

  I always have the lobby music muted by clicking the speaker next to the full scren knob bottom right.

  Have just unmuted it and lowered the lobby music to 5% audible and a friend coming or going sound was quite easily and normally audible. Presumably the invite sound which I have never ever heard  in 4 years will be the same.

  For my wife she hates the following :-

  • the noise caused by hitting the ding
  • The applause after making bird or eagle
  • The noise caused by mousing over different clubs
  • me talking on skype during play
  • me drinking beer and playing golf before lunch

  I think I've mentioned adding a mute function for the 'DING' sound in the past, as it really is just the middle of the club, and geometrically you can succeed from the other 97% of the equipment face once to take the time to learn it. But the elusive ding and the urge to secure it is a big part of WGT sales so it may stay forever, as it is.

  I've also suggested about a mute function to the 'noise caused by mousing over different clubs' or even the camera zoom sound (not required) then I would leave game sound audible for my house to enjoy, as it can sound like a real golf game! That might even create a buzz as others may become interested in joining WGT, but with those weird sounds I usually keep the game muted or low, or even wear earbuds, while playing.

  • Come on, you put beer on your cereal....hair of the dog

  Sounds like l am missing several things in the game.

  Who on earth would leave that music playing all the time? Adding another option or kill the music and change the name please.
