L97 BB has a very low trajectory, approch green with high elevation is like climb a wall for it. Either you stumble on the wall or you outdrive the hole by a mile.

L89 is better, i regret having changed.

I kept the old one figuring I might use it instead of choking the longer one. I do use the 245yd one more often. If I have the L97 and if I'm playing solo it just so happens I notice a lot more headwinds. So if I play multi-player I may choose the 250y figuring that if I get headwind - we ALL get headwind.

I'm still learning a rewarding punch w/ the BB (usually in very windy conditions) , noting that if it's a green landing I may expect the ball to roll approx 30, 40, 50+ yards more than calculated. No surprise, just sayin'

Interesting replies by all.   I think the L89 is a great club, except as said before miss ding just slightly and big trouble. If you ding too this can lead to trouble aswel....lol

It doesn't go off aim all the time, but I have noticed on occasion it will when dinged.  I have to pay more attention to which holes it's doing that, if they are the same all the time.

I still think it might be playing as if hitting on Uneven lies...  or looks like that anyway.

Of course the other problem is trying to hit the ding...lol  as sometimes it's pretty hard to do.

    Roger
