OK, so now we have 2 nike putters with different increments, but same attributes. I really like the Nike putters and the 10/20/50 incs, but I see Fmagnets using the level 94 Nike, considerably cheaper and only a dot or two less in balance and precision, but with an extra 0.5 of meter.

Let's have opinions here based on experience only. I have the level 96 versa and would need quite some convincing to ditch it, but if I am honest I wouldn't have started this thread if I didn't want to be convinced.

    So fire away.

So let me get this straight-you like what you have but Fmags doesn't use it so you're in doubt? And now you're looking to be convinced to change?  Something doesn't fit.

Posted this in my CC on request now that the increments are sensible enough to try the new L101 Nike (even though the faster meter speed is disappointing). Not sure I can say there's much difference to the L94. I'm pretty sure once you get past 4.5 precision you don't notice any increase much (my guess is increases to precision decelerate logarithmically so the higher the number the less you notice any change). I was expecting to notice the extra forgiveness more on longer putts, but they still go off line plenty enough to miss. It does help a little with more-than-hair mishits on shorter putts, but those misses are caused by the faster meter!! All in all, it doesn't compare to the golden putter and is probably not worth the credits.

That said, I just started the day 26, 26, 29 (Oly f9 UEL), 27, 25, and the good putts did go where I hit them, so it can't be that bad!!

Summary: if you like what you've got, keep it. If you are bored and have credits to burn, it won't do you any harm :-)

No, it's simple - the slower meter rating is what appeals ( lev94), so is that worth more than the extra 0.2 of balance and forgiveness.

Or do I just keep my money in my pocket and stay with what I have.

It is an expensive experiment after all.

When I had the level 77 Nike I could very often miss the ding and still hole the putt, it was a very nice feeling, like a safety net, now I don't have that same feeling with my versa, in other words, miss the ding and I miss the putt. ( not entirely true , but more often than not )

Edit*  just saw Mags post above before I posted.

Eminently sensible as always and a mathematical genius who can do trigonometry in his head, I am only good at mental arithmetic.

Invariably by how much you missed the ding by-1/2 line miss = lipout.  LOL I was tempted to try the new putter but I don't think it's going to improve that.

More alarming to me is the number of dinged putts that miss and this is where I think the added balance might make a difference. Not sure it's worth $47US to find out.

Looks a credits to burn may as well swap in.  As mags said (basically way I read it anyway) once past a point it's not really going to notice score wise.

Even that 5 meter I would not have expected any actual change hard scoring wise, but it would have probably been enough for a gear freak like me.  Heck even 4.75 meter would have probably done it LOL.

Come a free rental may look at it, but short of winning some free sweepstake it don't look any shiny come buy me one:)

Being a ex rossa, redwood and versa user i love the 15,30, scales.  With that being said the level 101 nike with the same scales is perfect i really have nothing bad to say about it.
