Uncheck all the boxes and use a throw-away email account.

Delete everything in your hard disc, re-format it, throw you pc in any lake nearby, get a witness protection new identity and move out of the country........perhaps then, you might not receive emails from WGT

    Sincerely, Eric

I unticked all the boxes, but still got an email last night about an expired club rental. Sigh. Such a good game, but this has marred the experience.

I have marked the latest message as spam, submitted a mailing server complaint, blocked any further emails containing WGT keywords.

Some emails you can't block.  Notifications on rental equipment being one.   And some of it is useful, like notifications that a tournament round is about to end.  Just my opinion, but from what you are saying after joining this month, you will be complaining about how the game is unfair shortly.

    But to each his own.

    +1 to what phred952 said.

Another way to handle annoying emails from WGT (if not, any) is to create a specific folder solely designated for emails from WGT and adjust your email account setting so that they are automatically sorted out and go into that folder.

That's how I do it. I then go through them very quickly and delete them altogether once a week or so.

Go into your account and into Contact Information . Then change your email account infromation . Put in a bogus email address and then click Update .This will stop you from getting any emails from WGT .
