Hi, Emmie here.
Question: As someone with a "white box" through "Sam Knows", the international web access testing site that tracks broadband access & use, why am I constantly affected by stutter?
And lose balls in the process because the bar SUDDENLY RUNS RIGHT?
I've posted this before and it's never been "approved" by the "moderators", mostly cause it's "negative" I guess.
Still, doesn't answer the question why - the "throttling-down", the stutter, inconsistent web servers...
And the data from "Sam Knows" doesn't mesh with the throughput/output WGT says it operates at.
So, what's the deal?
And don't give me "free days" when everything "works the way it should" before it all doesn't. Ain't buying it, 'cause the "Sam Knows" figures don't match.
So……………..Why?
Emmie
Hi Emmie,
Thanks for the post! Have you tried different browsers with our game? Some work a bit better than others depending on your system. For instance I know that Chrome runs great but when I try running the game on Firefox, my meter goes haywire. Also, give the steps below a try. Turning off background loading really made a difference for me. If you are still having issues, send our customer service dept a message at members@worldgolftour.com and they should be able to help as well!
- Trouble shooting steps and system requirements, particularly clearing the browser and Flash cache:
http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/635.aspx
- Close other programs, browser windows and browser tabs
- Have the wgt.com website open but minimized and not displayed
- Play WGT in the original window size, do not maximize it to full screen
- Turn off Reflections, Flag Animation, Background Loading, Avatar rotations, and WGT Lessons in your Options
All the Best,
