I was at Pro in level 49.  Shot an 85 and moved up to level 50 and still advanced to Tour Pro.  My average score is 83.75 there is no way I should be in Tour Pro. Can a person move back to Pro if the scoring average gets higher?

that score was prob not counted, your other scores and the amount of rounds you have played were enough to advance you up a level

    Impossible IMHO.

Without calculating, I'd have thought so - plenty scores better than that 86.

But, after detailled examination, the 86 in question is the 30th-lowest score for the average - I deleted two BDU scores.

From that, some change in average calculation is likely:

The round no. to saturation for Pros is 30 now apparently, instead of 20!

The average itself calculates to 75.9, too high to level up, but there was at least one matchplay win against a TP at that time, pushing the tiering by an unknown margin.

And, the current TP average includes only those scores after the promotion
    - new game, new luck!

From the scores saved, it should be 80.44, but I won't try to solve that wee mystery...

I got lucky in match play against a TP.  Thanks for the response. I will try to improve on the short game and stay out of bunkers.
