I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

The fact is that it would be a good idea if we could gift clubs we don't use.  As I have a couple drivers, irons sets, putters and wedges that I don't use.   This is likely to never happen as it would directly hurt the bottom line of WGT if all that was floating around was recycled clubs.

    Cheers,

Hmmm, I thought this was the route you took...?

I read in the forums that you have 90,000 credits just sitting in your account and I'm wondering if you could gift me the Tour Burner iron set and the 2010 Rapture V2 9.5 driver or better if it's OK with you. Pretty please with a naked lady on top?

Back when I was very desperate for clubs I asked a few people. So what.

Over the last few days I have been gifted a couple of wedges and the Rapture iron set (forever indebted to you, thanks guys and gals).  I had amassed nearly 3000 credits, just 332 credits short of getting the full Rapture set (L48+).  I have got almost all my credits through surveys, a very minor amount (less than 100) from winnings.  I can do days without getting a survey, but then sometimes I can get both the long and short Ampario surveys in the same day... for 600 credits.  Just got to be patient.  With my credits I have made up the equipment I was wanting.

Up to now I have been playing with Starter clubs (except for the TaylorMade Burner driver which was a very bad purchase!) and have still been enjoying the game... as it should be played.  Yes, I got frustrated when I hit a perfect shot and WGT send it in whatever direction it wants except where it should go, but I could still post decent scores a lot of the time.  Not scores that would win comps, but scores that I was happy with.  I do have some sympathy for what X152nnnn is saying - I can now hit the ball into the stratosphere and make it dance to my command (by the way I'm only a Tour Pro) - but I no longer care and haven't for a while; just playing the game for fun.

I haven't gone out looking for people to gift me clubs nor have I asked, but there a lot of generous people around, so you never know who you will bump into.  Even though I now have the clubs I want, I will keep doing surveys and any other free offers; I already have gift plans for others; you never know who's list you may be on.
