Just wait till the next time you see a big break & it will go straight as an arrow.  Been there.

I usually layup just short of the bunker and then punch or pitch to the hole.  Nearly always make par and rarely worse than bogey.  Then I say "fck you" and go on to the 10th.

Approach shot in bunker. Aim left of pin...hit slightly past and ball will role back towards pin

The best way  i found out of a  bunker  is  full  wedge ,full  backspinn use the full setting  then use the meter by dividing it  up to youre distance. remember th ball will role if you forget the full backspinn. pitch or flop or chip donr work for me in the sand.  only full mode does.  So try it  if you dont like it  go  back the way7 you  were.

I play it like Mantis. Sometimes goes in for a birdie. (Full shot)

I play it by trying to hit it 3 to 5 yards short of what is needed. If I make the green I will be left an uphill putt. It doesn't always work out right but it does quite a few times. Until we got the higher spin irons I always played it for the rough or bunker.

Believe it, TracyMax...I just played the course in July ...this game is nothing like the REAL DEAL. When I was on that green, about 10 feet above the pin, I thought..ha  ha ha, I know how this plays...WRONG. The ball went several directions I never saw before and ended up rolling down into the light fescue grass they use as fringe, at some Warp speed that would make the Starship Enterprise envious.

I put a few photos of OCC on my profile page from my day there...All 18 holes are much more difficult IRL than on here. I probably should have spent the day playing the practice range and greens....they were much easier.

WGT's pics don't do the course justice - it's one of the largest and best looking golf courses I have ever had the privilege to play.
