Hi NKinsella,.
You will probably get a 2 hr free rental at Level 90 and have to choose between trying the R15 driver and the TM RSi2 iron set. If you are happy with your current driver, try the iron set on the free rental. In the event you don't get a chance at a free rental, I would consider renting them for a day before you buy.
I love mine, but perhaps not everyone does. In fact with mine I took 2nd place (tied for first but lost the tie breaker) in the wk 33 multi-round Best of Par 5 (Tour Master) Tournament. That led to me being moved up to Legend early.
I also got 2nd in the WGT Nation (TM) wk 34 Pinehurst 9 hole unlimited play tournament, and 3rd place in the (TM) Valhalla Challenge Tournament. As well as a couple of CC tournament wins. And I feel I owe it all to those Irons.
I found that using a Nike lvl 61 ball and also the Callaway lvl 39 ball, the distance is just about spot on. After allowing for wind, I find that I can put the ball hole high most of the time after hitting my shot at within about 1% of the power % I figure I need.
Also the RSi2's hold greens better than the Nike VR's do, especially the longer irons. My only complaints are the PW and 3I. The PW is erratic, sometimes long and sometimes short. The 3I tends to be long. I usually figure my power based on 235 yds not 225 yds as shown.
But my advice would be to keep your Nikes just in case, if you buy the RSi2's. I had a little trouble adjusting to the difference in meter speed, because time and gravity do take a toll. So I still have mine. I use them sometimes with the free give away balls for CTTH.
Hope this helps
