    Just a quick question/comment...

I played the final round of the LPGA tournament.  Were the legends allowed to use the legend balls?  Because I qualified as a tour-master and played the back/black tees without the benefit of the longer balls.  maybe they didn't get to use the legend balls, but if they did, how is that creating a level playing field?

There is no level playing feel, this is the championship round, the best of the best. It is just like the previous 3, everyone plays from the same tees and the best player wins. Why should Legends not be allowed to use the longer ball that they've EARNED by advancing to the highest tier? Should I have to take my lvl 80 driver out of the bag before I play since not everyone who qualified is able to get it?

^^^   At least one tourney is the best man/woman win. Different levels and different clubs...it gets confusing..same clubs allowed for same levels just play enough. Legend balls are the only thing they cant get.You have to play more then ctth and ready go's... you need ranked rounds to advance to Legend. GL

    WGTicon:

Let me try to clarify few things.

    1. Tournament is single entree and seems that rules are wrong. I already alerted it, so they should be fixed soon.

    2. Only those who qualified can win. If others entered due to people leaking the link, their scores will simply be ignored.

    3. Speedyschic, I forwarded your concerns and they should be contacting you very soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. Dad & son bonding time is precious :)

I am running into the same brick wall again. I returned a signed affidavit as asked on the 18th of January. I have since sent "several" emails to every WGT address that I have requesting info on the next step in this agonizing process. I was sent a care package of WGT merchandise and an apology for the delay. This was very much appreciated. I understand damage control and I agree with it. What I am unhappy about is not knowing what is going on. I try to keep an open mind about things but the logistics of this particular situation do not seem that complicated to me. It is something that I could easily do in one day. I think it is understandable for me to wonder why it has taken WGT 2 1/2 months and counting. Any info would be much appreciated.

Bump Bump Bump...... I am not going to even go into detail because I want to keep my disgust to a minimum. The resentment I have towards WGT has gone completely off the chart. I will not badmouth WGT just for the heck of it. I am not that kind of person. But, a positive word about WGT will probably never come out of my mouth again. And the worst part about it is that I have made several good friends on here and I enjoy the game even if the prizes may be an illusion. I do not want to quit the game. Every time I purchase balls and clubs from now on it will be like I hand over the money and in response I get the equipment with a side order of "a slap in the face".The only positive point that I can find in this matter is the fact that I did not tell my 5 yr. old about our trip to Disneyland. Now that would have been the last straw and would probably have forced me to quit.

WGT... You have not lost a player but you have definitely  lost a fan.

Speedychic - based on the above, you have my utmost sympathy.

WGT - you may have stiffed me on the two KLM tickets (and others) for the Closest the Hole but assuming this is true, this is a whole different league - do you have any honor or any shame?
