    I don't often come to read anything in these forums. It always seems to come down to a pissing match between the different posters in the forums. The problem from the original post never seems to be really addressed. Or it has somewhat been addressed then people start to yep at each other and it all goes to hell. The sad thing is that the people doing most of the back biting are the ones with thousands of posts on here.

    I come on here to have fun playing the game. I have spent money on clubs, balls, swing meters to try and get better to move up higher in the tiers. And I don't mind doing so  because I enjoy playing the game. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes I can ding the meter and sometimes I can't. Heck, if I could putt with out having to have a calculator near by I might be a higher tier by now. I putt by feel like I would on a real course. Learn a little more about it every time I play. Been playing the St.Andrews front 9 a lot to try and get to the next tier. Once again if I could putt I might already be there. L0L

    I have been playing a lot of tournaments lately and I have been seeing something happening I don't quite understand. Right now I am a Tour Pro and playing in the tournaments against other Tour Pro's. Or so I thought. It seems there are higher tier players playing in them and winning them that should be playing in other tournaments. Like this weeks leader of the Nation 9 hole unlimited tournaments. He is on the Master Tier and only has a 73.33 something average. He has posted a score that I may never reach. First, how does a master tier player play in a pro tier tournament??? Second, how can he be a on the master tier with a 73. something average???? The same thing goes on in a lot of the other tournaments also. Could or can any one explain this or is it one of those things that I will have to just get over it and learn that is the way it is.

    This is my first post on here so be gentle people cause I bruise easily. L0L

    Not positive but I believe that it would be that the player was a tour pro when the tourney started but at some point during the week long event he made it to the master tier. He is allowed to finish any tournaments started as a tour pro at the tour pro level. As for the average, it resets after you move up in tier, and represents just a couple of rounds he has played since turning master, from tees much further back. It will come back down in time.

    twinponds answered your questions about the tiers and average very nicely.

    As for the other problems... You'll find, if you hang about and read the forums, that some "players" are much more interested in banter and bitchin' than playing the other game (the one with the clubs and balls)

    If you ask for advice or have a legitimate question you will find that you usually get several differing relevant comments (often from those 1000s of post members) before it all becomes shite (as my UK friends would say).  Don't take it personal; you never know what others might be dealing with.  There's all sorts on this site. LOL

    Miss Courteneyfish you are right. Last night round 2:30am Houston time I finally made it to Master from Tour Pro!!!!! I don't know how long I was at Tour Pro trying to get to Master but it was a long time it seems. I knew that someone would call me on it when it happened but  I didn't think it would have been that fast!!  L0L  Have a great day!!!! /-:}
