No time to read all the posts. My only thought is in an alt shot game that means the ejected players partner is DQ'ed also for nothing he did wrong.  That needs some more thought I think.

After reading all these posts, it is quite obvious that the conclusion should be, put top priority on fixing current problems.

There have been enough incidents of unplanned disconnects and aborted games that I feel you should not, no never, look for a way to penalize a player for slow play by disqualification. Stroke penalties would do just fine.

Two other issues that I have a personal problem with that I would like to see addressed are:

    1. Benefits for Country Club members above level 17...many clubs are already at level 19 and have not been offered any benefits.

    2. The fact that you are penalized a stroke when, while putting, you hit the ball outside of the tinted area on the putting meter. While off ding putting this becomes a real problem when trying to get maximum break on a putt. (I know, I'm being selfish and petty.)

Worst problem I see is meter skipping....can't putt accurately when this is happening.

    Thanks.  :)

Here is why this is a great idea:

Many times, I have been whooping someone in match play(especially challenge matches) and they use the disconnect tactic to try to get me to forfeit.  If done correctly, you can make someone wait for ~15 mins before you win the match.

I am all in for this improvement to the game.

considering all the disconnecting problems we have here ,the action taken should be the exact opposite

just because there are a few players who do what hog says ,why should the vast majority be penalyzed?  its beyond silly to make a rule that suits  a small minority and affects in a bad way the vast majority

I never encountered this. But I almost never play anything else than stroke play or blitz. And rarely with anyone else than my friends.

So this penalty might be needed for paid games with a 90 second clock. The new rules would need to be adjusted when using a 30 second clock.

And introducing them would be a serious error for games among friends. There they just would make the game even less reliable than it is now without offering any benefit in return.

I juste loose an alternate game, the clock involve it's why i write this.

2up for us, the opponent don't putt 3 times, 2 shots penaltys  for them and  after lots of disconnections for both team to try to understand what happens to him, an unexpected error happens for me and we loose. lol

Loosing a game  sure to win with the 2 up and the 2 shots penaltys and the famous unexpected error happens is never  fun. Using balls and my time for that, thank you wgt again.

Wgt, since 589676787697876789 years everybody say to you the game don't work fine, nothing fixed,  glitches, bugs and  don't  know what else more and you do nothing but create wonderfull country club event and make avalable a putter 5 level before, so nice move you make.

I know we don't understand what i say, my english is so poor even my kat speak  and write better english, but still  i'm  not happy.

    But just a little lol

30 seconds too short on second one. just disqualify after 90 more seconds seems fair to me.

So, after 90+% of the posters said don't do this thing, you went and did it anyway!

Way to listen to your customers WGT!

Why did you even ask if you were going to ignore us?
