In Alternate Shot games, the hole distance shortens depending on your ranking (i.e., the hole is shorter for a Tour Pro than a Tour Master).

But the green speeds are always the speed of the highest ranked player (i.e., a Tour Pro needs to putt in Tournament 12 greens if he or she is playing with a Tour Master).

That just seems needlessly unfair to the lower-ranked players. Why not just have different green speeds for different people?

    Is this a programming issue?

    would be my guess.

I've always thought that green speed shouldn't be tier based and everyone should get the green speed set for that particular round.   Just as in real life,  ( I know, this isn't real life) but in real life you can use the tee box suited for your game but everyone in your group will get whatever speed the greens are set at for that round.

^^^ That is exactly what happens here, we all play the same green speed. The default setting being the green speed of the highest tiered player.

Yea, but my meaning was not to always default to the highest tiered players green speed.

Of course, there are many other things they (WGT) should spend their time on,  like bugs/glitches-fixing not creating ;-) and new courses and obviously yellow Nikes.
