Hello, I would like to be able to choose stroke play on ANY course, just like in Microsoft Links. How much would that cost me?

So the reason why not all courses have full 18 holes is because the courses are not finished yet. Don't believe the people who will reply to this message saying that new courses will never come out, because that's not true. But in their defense some of those folks have been waiting a very long time.

So I guess to answer your question... How much is a time machine? ^_^

Who told you that? You might want to talk to somebody in the office  about the CTTH courses that ARE finished and will never be available for stroke play because they weren't photographed for it. That's probably what the OP was asking about.

@Grampa-This isn't like Links where you buy courses. Here you buy the equipment and the courses are free, just not all of them are set up for stroke play nor will they ever be unless WGT goes back out and takes thousands of more pictures. They are plodding along at about 1 course per year and the best you can hope for now is Pebble Beach which probably won't be here until next April even though they shot it already.

....And the only awards he has from the CTTH courses that don't play stroke.  :-)

...OK, I see. As a developer, I know what it's like to, say, port an entire Links 386 course, written in DOS C, to WGT C#.net ASPX. Still...I would *love* to see some of the old courses come to life...like Mauna Kea...like Banff...like Troon North. I didn't see anything in the Posting Guidelines about no posts volunteering to help so...I shoore wish I could help... :)

    "like Banff"

....Banff is a major tourist resort (and golf course/ski resort) located in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta (near Calgary) ...one of the nicest courses north of the 49th parallel.

    ...a fine choice, indeed,

That's not the issue. Each of the stroke courses have been literally photographed with thousands of pictures from just about every angle possible, every hole. I'm sure you can imagine that undertaking, very much unlike what it takes to make  MSLinks courses that are computer generated.
