I own a CC in about 643rd place. I agree with everything you say. Its all about sucking every penny WGT can suck out of us. They don't give a flip about anything else!!!!!!!

WGT is measuring Country Clubs by money spent and the activity of the members, which go hand in hand. In my opinion there is a lot more that goes into making a good quality CC. I think there is  things that WGT could do like grade CC's by their average score of their CC members, what percentage of their members are daily players, that might change the mind of club owners on who they accept into their club.

I just think that something should be done to recognize the quality clubs vs the quantity clubs. No offense to the larger clubs, but who has all 250 of its members on their friends list and who has played with all 250 members of their club?

But one thing is certain, as long as we keep buying the passes and playing they will keep supplying us with the clashes. I just wish they were fair to the clubs that had less than 100 members.

Why should CCs subordinate to any grading? Is it necessary to enter any "who has the longest..." contest?

Best CC is not the biggest, the most spending, the most winning or the best average CC IMHO. For me, it's about the fun the members have through the community, common activity and good communication. They may be 10 or 100 or 250 - no difference at all as long as they keep sharing and caring.

As far as I see, WGT created this system of CC XPs and passes solely for their own benefit. Before, some 500(?) cr were enough to buy a CC for 250 members. Now, a CC needs a lot of games played, CC passes used and balls spent to arrive there. Furthermore, the company stirs a hype with the CC levels learderboard, with the Clashes and with the latest featured player, a true MVP for the company. In consequence, their earnings in credits and money rise without spending much towards their customers, and many happily obey.

"It is more blessed to give than to receive" says the bible, "it's more profitable to receive than to give" say business people. Quality is irrelevant, and there's no space for fairness in this religion.
