  I have played in many bracket tournaments but my average score never changes.  I know par 3 tournaments do not count toward your average score but most of the bracket tournaments I've played in are regular courses.  Normally they are nine hole.  

  What's wrong with this picture?

  Nothing is wrong ;)

  Nine hole scores are doubled for the average calculations, giving you scores of 72, 74 and 68 in your last games. Since only the 40 best scores count against your Master average of 65.55, these aren't included in the calc.

  I assume that 33 or 67 might count(?)
