It might be a nice idea to introduce a new system whereby if a player of a lower rank beats somebody of a higher rank then they win an extra 100 credits for example. This might help stop players avoiding playing better players. I don't avoid anybody, Champions now but when I was a Tour Master I'd happily play Tour Legends. The only games I don't accept are 30 second matches

Sadly, it would be very good for multi accounters.

Innovative idea, but who should pay these 100 cr, notably in non-challenge matches?

The "incentive" to play matchplay against higher tiers is the acceleration of tier-ups until Legend tier, introduced a  few years ago as an anti-sandbagging measure.

Probably game would be cleaner if you could not play for credits at all. No prizes for leaderboard finishes instead credits awarded for ball use.

Multi would not be arsed then

Sounds like the clash (if anyone must, please not "should I stay......." again).

This Idea would only help the sandbaggers win more credits. With the equipment available to lower tiers it is no big surprise that a lower tier would beat a higher one. In the case of TL vrs Champ the only real difference is the number of ranked rounds.
