    borntobesting:
You do realize that you can go to the pro shop anytime during your round before you run out of balls and buy the same type of ball and it will be added to you inventory.

Absolutely. Folks need to be reminded of that, but on the other hand, there doesn't seem to be any reason not to be given that option again when you have just dowsed your last Callaway in the Intracoastal Waterway.

    Doublemochaman:
I'm seeing a funny scenario.  ... he asks the entire foursome to wait while he runs back to the pro shop for more balls.

Admittedly far-fetched, but on the other hand: How about removing the flagstick when you are still standing at the tee? You beam your caddie down to the hole, 500 yards away, to tend the flag for you while you tee off?

    Is that you Phil?  :)

Does anyone think the current way of having a new ball go from perfect to unusable is a good solution? Granted they cant just change any feature at the drop of a hat, but I dont think it is the right idea.

I would rather see the ball lose some of the better properties slowly over time until it reaches a point where it just slightly better than a regular ball...it could have 1 point of distance and 1 point of spin, if it started with 2 1/2 or 3.

Prolly should have said that from the start instead of using "screwed over"...was pretty pissed about it at the time and happen to vent on a topic that popped up...my bad.

I thought of something that could help.   When you are down to your last ball of that type, the entire wear meter would be red instead of only the last 25%.

that or have A  meter in "my equip." ...  see before we ever tee off.

    Showtime29:

It should 100% be this way...

Unfortunately, WGT would then not be screwing you over and forcing you to buy multiple packs of different balls just to be able to use the previous ones.  After all, their aim is to squeeze every last buck out of you.  That is why you have avatars, drinks and clothes popping up instead of new courses, or improvements to the actual game play.

It is a great game, but just dont expect to get great value or bang for your buck.

Of course if there is the rule of one ball for a stipulated round, replacing your fancy ball with a basic WGT ball also violates that rule. It's as if a pro ran out of the type of ball he started the round with and the rules official said, "That's OK, Tiger. Just finish out the round with a range ball."

Here's a silly suggestion.Check your inventory before you hit the course.   :)

here's a obvious observation.  We can't  see how many hits are left until after we tee off.

    :) :) :) :)

A meter with 'hits left' in the 'my equipment' section is the easy fix.

If I have only 100 credits left to enter a game, I want to know if i have enough "hits" left to finish the round.  If not I will not play.

    But you (WGT)  know this.
