  I think that this badge should be retroactive to include all players that have won a tour event back to start of game. I mean you are only talking about less than 1000 players who have won an event since the start of this game in all competing tiers.

  Traditionally, there's a cup collection in the awards section of the profiles.

  This new trophy is said to be a crown, different for monthly and quarterly winners. Alas, I miss it "next to the players' names" of the January competition.

  Looks like another promise unfulfilled :(

  Only shows in the game client, which of course is invisible to all but the winners themselves unless they are streaming.

  Considering the fact that WGT specified that the Champion Badges would only be shown "for the term of their reign" - be it Monthly or Quarterly VT champion - retrospectivity is meaningless!   Prior winners' reigns have expired, and so would the display of their badge.

  Thanks for correcting me - you're one of the few who would know the difference!

  So it's another means of self-adulation like the consecutive days and - partly - the weekly CC XP champs.

  Of course, this brilliant piece of fecklessness deserved a prominent place in the News!

  Its visible to other players in AS games.. Maybe added recently as nobody had commented on it before yesterday

  Yes, they changed it at the last update. Shows in profile pages now too.
