  LOL   it's the slow time at work and it's getting to the point where I get tired of playing wgt and reading forums that I actually look for work related things to do. ;-)

  Then I set it aside for the next day and play more WGT  LOL.

  have a quiet word with the person who wrote "New hole locations", there is a big difference in shot locations and hole locations

  #2 and #3 use different (front) hole locations,
  #4 isn't even on the same hole: Old = OAK#3, new = OAK#4. (edited)

  I played it before leaving for work this morning.   The entire game I still heard the lobby music while playing LOL.   Haven't tried it at work yet.

  have to use the button on the bottom left of the main game page under explore courses tab and click virtual us open 2016 then you will not hear that music. if you quit and save game that music will be there again.

  Champ means that the hole locations are drawn from the current two sets, which is correct. He doesn't mean that they are in the same locations as the old CTTH.

  The 3rd set of pins will hopefully be ready by the VUSO. Depends if they have enough time after the huge Pebble overrun, and if they find they have enough views to make them work.

  Excuse my ignorance.  I know hole locations are new pins... but what is new shot locations

  It's the spots where the balls lie initially. For instance, the 1st of the old CTTH is a 130 yds shot from 1st FW, in the new CTTH it's from the rough left of the 1st green, 27 yds out.
