    having trouble hitting flop shot out of a bunker. If it has tall sides the shot doesn't carry the top of the bunker. Am I hitting it wrong or is that the case with these shots? Works well  around the greens in short rough, just can't make it work out of a bunker.

    Tried to master the flop shot out of the bunker... I have now decided that it's easier to just pick the ball up and throw it out when no ones looking!!!

    Hi,

    Flop often does not work well from bunkers. It depends where, what sand % it is and so on

    I have had the same issue. I now do a full shot out and just power down to what I think will give me the yardage I need. Full shots seem to pop right out nicely
