Yes, you did read this right!! Many a time I have had several balls disappear into the hole and instead of getting 'birdie' or 'eagle' the ball emerges the other side. As I am always looking at the ball from behind, it appears to me that the hole margins / dimensions of the right side of the hole do not appear to line up with what the image shows on screen, compared to the left side which is more forgiving.
I have saved an image of a putt that to me, should have been a birdie, but alas wasn't. Several times I have viewed the image from all angles and you can clearly see that half the ball disappears into the hole. There is no deviation to the left as viewed from behind. Still wondering why it is not a birdie!!!
