    I think you're a conspiracy theorist ...

What conspiracy?  Covert data manipulation by IT companies for marketing purposes is hardly a secret anymore.  I'd be stunned in fact if it weren't the rule rather than the exception these days.

"I've truly believed for a while now that myself and others are part of some sick little marketing experiment to determine just how much crap one puts up with before they hang it up & quit the game."

^^^ is what Don was referring to. It's not that wgt can manipulate data, it's why they manipulate data.

You reference companies that do it for marketing purposes (believable)...you also assert WGT wants people to leave their site?...(unbelievable)

ps: I know you don't like to provide actual proof, but I still gave your first point credit for being plausible.:)

Really ct, your use of two different styles of quoting folk and setting text as bold gets confusing to us readers!

        Hey Don ole buddy,

My solution seems to work. Quit playin for an hour or two, change your avatar but most importantly check out your local sportsbet site.

Only just long enough to place a losing bet. By this time your new avatar will adjust itself to your profile and when you restart playin again its like a breath of fresh air, putts go in and you're in a magical WGT zone.

It works, trust me, Happy daze

    Cheers.

Lol ... thanks Pete ... they're getting close to running me off the site with their bad meter and VEM *** ... just shot a ready go round and made an eagle. Horror of horrors ... never make an eagle in a ready go ... next hole I made bird ... then it's par, par, triple bogey ...

Yeah ... this crap happens all the time ... score manipulation ... I've had nearly every round trashed for about the last 20- 40 rounds except for a rare CTTH round that comes out ok ...

This happens in cycles and I never know how many trash rounds I get before it stops, and then I never know how many good rounds I get before it starts again. Last cycle it only went 10 rounds or so ... then I got about 8 or 10 good rounds I guess ... then it's back to trash.

LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU WANT BLOOD WGT .... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good..it will keep you on your toes..lol

In the interest of clarity, I will try to be more consistent with my posting style. I always use quotation marks, but have amended the post re: the bold print.

I quoted your entire text and you selected a minor portion of that text to respond to ...

So instead of asking me which portion of your post I was referring to, you decided to respond to what you thought I meant ... just like the reply I got from customer service. I gave them a generality, and they sent me back an email about disconnections .... SMH ...

    You're not only a conspiracy theorist, you're a politician ...

Uhm ... ct , actually you don't know what I was referring to, as I never specified which part I was responding to other than the global settings part ...

But it's all good ... I'll just sit here and watch people fumble around with what they think I mean .... :-)

Very true Don. Given what Robbo posted, I simply connected the obvious dots that would define a "conspiracy theory"..if that was not what you were referring to, then I apologize. I would also ask that you perhaps clarify what you were referring to.?

    Too funny!

Sadly, thats the usual CS response, even with specifics.  Unless, of course, you say "It's MY fault".....

Not people, just a few persons.  It's a fine line between "I give up" and "I'm gonna beat this thing, even if it kills me!"  As such, somebody has to cross that line for the results to be meaningful.

Robbo..for the record, I don't think you are a conspiracy theorist. I do think what I quoted is exactly why Don called you one. Nothing else you said remotely fits the definition.

You are a familiar presence in these forums and are also an accomplished golfer. I personally would not like you to go Kamikaze to prove a point. WGT won't hear it, and wouldn't care anyway. We both know that.

Regardless, best of luck to you.
