My guess is they want you to quit the game.....but more on this in a second.
First, have you checked your flash global storage settings? Usually if my shots get all wonky and such, that's the first thing I check. I have found the settings returned to default for no apparent reason on a number of occasions. Setting it to 1 MB helps me immeasurably.
Second, WGT seems to have tweaked the trajectory on the punch shots recently. For several weeks now I've seen my distances cut down whenever I punch with a tailwind, so much so that it's now a shot of last resort.
But mostly, I've truly believed for a while now that myself and others are part of some sick little marketing experiment to determine just how much crap one puts up with before they hang it up & quit the game. WGT has stated in the past that they have the ability to alter an individual's gameplay but don't. Given their less-than-honest statements regarding disconnects, cache clears, new courses, etc, etc, I'm not sure why anyone would believe this either. For me, its crazy that I can throw darts within 2 feet repeatedly with my L100 Vapors & a b-xd ball one round, but then can't get any shot within 10 yards with ANY ball during subsequent rounds. Or why, after missing a putt, the read on the next putt differs completely from what was shown beyond the hole on the first attempt. Queries to CS result in not only useless answers, but often condescending replies as well.
Alas, I'm an addictive personality with nothing better to do most of the time so on it will go...
