According to most of the threads I've read, the requirement for pro status is an average equal to 80 or lower.. I'm at around 78 and have yet to be promoted.. Missing something? Thanks all!

    I also don't understand.

I've also researched the threads, and have found the "definition" of advancement. I've played the 10 ranked rounds (the profile confirms that), and have an average score of under 76. According to the definitions, that qualifies me for a bump.

    Nothing.

I'm at "Level 29", whatever that means. Are there additional criteria that must be met? Is there something I have to do to trigger the change in assignment?

And I guess in a larger sense, what does the bump from Amateur to Pro actually do?

    Thanks in advance for clarifying.

10 ranked rounds at your current tier + the average .  Total ranked rounds is not the same thing.

Note that the number of ranked rounds refers to the ranked rounds played at that tier, not total number of ranked rounds. Also note that par 3 and par 5 courses don't count.

    • When you have played at least 5 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 100 you go from Hack to Amateur.

    • When you have played at least 10  ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 80 you go from Amateur to Pro
    • When you have played at least 20 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 72 you go from Pro to Tour Pro

    • When you have played at least 30 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 67 you go from Tour Pro to Master

    • When you have played at least 40 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 63 you go from Master to Tour Master

    • When you have played at least 50 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 61 you go from Tour Master to Legend

    • When you have played at least 500 ranked rounds - and your average score is equal to or lower than 60 you go from Legend  to Tour Legend

For tees and green speeds, I believe the following is correct:

    • Amateur: Easy tees, standard greens
    • Pro: Medium tees, fast greens
    • Tour Pro: Medium tees, very fast greens

    • Master: Hard tees, very fast greens
    • Tour Master: Hard tees, tournament(1) greens.
    • Legend: Champion tees, tournament(2) greens.
    • Tour Legend: Champion tees, championship greens.
