Prebenharder: . . .
My internetspeed is always 60 mbit/s and I do not understand.
I tend to give WGT up, because it must be problems with WGT.
. . .
any comments on this.
My Internet speed is
3 mbps. I only rarely have connection issues.
Your Internet speed has little to do with it, so you're right - you apparently do not understand the fundamentals of how the Internet works.
Your computer is not directly connected to WGT.
There are intermediate connections involved, including nodes on each side of the Atlantic ocean that connect to the undersea cable that goes from the east coast of the USA to Europe.
How to use the Traceroute command. Note however that using Traceroute only shows you the route 1 packet of data tool from your computer to WGT and not the route from WGT to you. Not all data packets take the same route through the myriad Internet paths.
That is what makes the Internet possible. It is a network of distributed networks that use packet switching.
You also have to consider Internet routing and service tiers.
The bottom line is the only part of the Internet you have any control over is the condition of your computer.
Keep your computer in good shape by making sure you routinely get rid of junk files (system level and browser level), keep the system Registry cleaned up and minimize the number applications on your computer that start up when you turn your computer on.
