i had a 61 average when wgt made the tier changes, they made me a legend.  My first week as a legend i really struggled and my average went up to 74.  I have shot many sub par rounds in the last few months and my average barely moves. just shot a 33 and my average went down .02,  so your telling me that i shot a few bad rounds and it went up 13 but i have to spend the next 5 years shooting under par to bring it back down to 70.  I know that average doesnt mean much anymore but this does not seem right.  I just dont see how it went up so quick but it goes down at .02 at a time

when the tier changes were made your average base was zeroed out. So you shot a high round and it shot up. Now the averages are based on your past 10 ranked rounds and the high ones are thrown out of the factor. Since you were already a legend you may not have known of this change. A new player suffers the same each time he is promoted to a new tier. It goes up because he is not used to the changes but eventually levels and then goes down.

here is my last 10 ranked rounds, now keep in mind that i am a 74 average right now so anything under that should bring it down, but it only goes down at .02 at a time.

Firstly, you have played a bunch of 9 hole games, so you need 2 to make each 18 hole total.  Secondly your average comes from a soft cap of games.  Tour pro is like 30, Master 35 or 40 and Tour Master 40 or 50.  So as long as you have not hit that cap, all your games count in your total which I believe is what you are seeing.  Once you hit that, it will drop faster as each time you shoot a low score, the highest one will drop out of your average.

Just a small add. A 9 hole games count just like a 18 holes game in the average. For example, if you do 33 in a 9 hole game, it counts like 66 to compute the average (you just multiply by 2). The average is computed using your X best games. If you haven't play X games yet then the average is a standard average (sum of all scores divided by the number of games). X = 25 for tour pro, X = 40 for master and X = 50 for tour master. Do not know yet for legend tier.
