Ivery been struggling with my shot accuracy. I can't seem to time it right.  So I went and purchased some new clubs. Thinking maybe that would help some.  But it's not.  Which got me thinking.  Why isn't there a driving range in this game?  It would be a great way to work on different aspects of your game.  And it could be used to try out new clubs, balls etc before purchasing. I know I just bought some irons thinking it might help me some. Didn't do much.  Now I wish I had bought a different set. I know you can rent clubs for a day.  But money is hard enough to come by.  (Unless of course you purchase it)

    Hi Heverly0,

While there isn't a dedicated driving range on the web version of the game, you can play practice stroke play games and after each drive, take a mulligan to bring you back to the teebox. Pick a course/hole you like with a long open fairway and you should be set. :)

AS they say just play a stroke practice round and keep playing a shot over and over.  Should help a lot.

Thanks for the reply. I messed with practice mode a little.  But I'm more concerned about having a diving range to test clubs I might be interested in. Especially if I'm spending real money.  If I'm interested in say 5 drivers. The cost for me to rent all 5, would run me roughly $10 real cash (1,000 cr) that's just way too much.  Now I'm stuck with clubs I don't really like,  instead of waiting a bit and maybe getting something better

Adapt to the game - it won't adapt to you. There will be no driving range - it has been negated ever since I became a member here (2011)!

Instead, chose the courses as practice fields - BPB back 9 (Bethpage) has been named as a preference by many, and STA ain't too bad either!

Furthermore, relax and come to a hold - you're a L25 Amateur, so there's no need to hurry with the buys! IMHO, the first relevant clubs come around L31 (R11), wedges with L41 (ATV) and putters with L35 or more - none below 500 cr!

    First directive here: Have fun!!

Typical response from WGT, will not  listen to the players good ideas but instead add a stupid announcer and a drive chart.

. A driving range would be fun.

Also use the Best of Par 3,4 and 5 as well . You can use the CTTH courses or single blitz play for learning how to use your wedges . You wont get the results you need from a driving range but if you learn how to use the different course set ups you will find that you have more than enough options to imrove your game .
