  I was hitting a shot from the fairway and I realized just as I started my backswing that I somehow changed to another club and I was now hitting a 7I instead of a 4I.  I thought I could bring the club back to rest and it would be okay.  It wasnt.  I hit my shot 1 foot. ugh.

   

  Is there something you can do to cancel your shot if that happens?

  Just let the swing go thru and dont click, like a practice swing...
