I'm currently using the Ping G24 59+. Looking to upgrade to high precision irons and want to know if anyone has any experience with the following Iron Sets. They both have all the exact same ratings other than Level but is one set necessarily better than the other.

    TaylorMade SpeedBlade L75+

    TaylorMade RocketBladez L79+

    Hi!

A very interesting question! lol, so much for me wanting to offer advice.

What I will say is that I used the G24s, same as you, up untill I reached Legend without any major problems. Only then did I have to upgrade, to the RSi 2s in my case,at Lvl 90. When you go up to TMaster you still play the same tees as Master ( as far as I can remember) so if the Pings are okay I would hesitate to change. The meter speed takes some getting used to as well.

You have some of the best, if not the best IMHO, resources in your club for advice. Good luck whatever you decide.

    Cheers

That's okay Rich. I just don't wanna wait until I'm like L85+. I'm used to a 3.0 or 3.5 meter. And I want the much better precision. Money burning a hole in my pocket. LOL

    Hi!

Aha, there's no stopping you then, I know that feeling lol!

Just as an afterthought I had a look at your other clubs. You say you want more precision, take a look at your wedges though. In my opinion you would benefit a lot more from upgrading them first! Better distance, forgiveness, precision and spin! There's no point getting to around the green brilliantly then finding you can't stop, chip spin or flop the ball!

Even if you went for the lvl 27 - 31 RTXs, all 3 for 2985cr. you would find a vast improvement. More so than with new irons. If it's still burning a hole then buy the irons as well. : ))

    Good luck

I'm comfortable with the wedges I have but they are my next upgrade after irons. I've looked at the RTX's though and I like them too. Way I figure is with better irons on approach shots won't need wedges so much. I rarely use them in play. I'm always breaking out my PW and playing the %'s within that club. Just saying. :)

    upgrade to precission irons...lol

there is no precission in this game its just flip a coin and hope your ball lands within 3yrds of pin else your getting a bogie.....

i have been playing until lvl 85 and just bought the nike vapor irons....reviews said "they are good "....but after 2-3 days and 20 rounds....even these cant make a dent in the total randomness of this "pay to win" game....

clubs are still going over distance even when wind is blowing at me and going up hill...while stopping short with wind assisting its a total joke.....
