I read  many comments referring to the real time of golf.  Wgt is a simulation and I think the simulation of high winds is not realistic.

I think the wgt programming of wind is not accurate..it should be improved.
What would you suggest to make simulating high winds more realistic? Not having high winds at all? That's not realistic, since often golfers DO play in high winds! I don't like high winds at all either - but I play in them and deal with them. If WGT was even more realistic, we'd also be occasionally dealing with rain too (specially on the two UK courses)...I guess you'd wait for a nicer day then as well.

Just learn to deal with the winds, it's what it is. The amazing thing is that the top players still shoot 50's with a 30 MPH wind, so it can be done. I don't know about others but I have to add 20% to a strong crosswind, or even 25%

No, it's not. Not even by the vaguest of definitions.... WGT is an arcade game based on golf.

Simulators don't use skill adjusting code to 'simulate' or influence your shot outcome.

Is their interpretation of a 30mph wind realistic? It is in WGTland, that's all you need to know.

I live on the south coast of England. 30mph winds are very normal on the golf courses round here. We forget all about the score we shoot and see it as an achievement to just get round with the same ball :-)
