i was having same problems with fire fox and flash player, bad meter was unplayable, etc. uninstalled the mozllia maintenance from your programs, and everything back to normal.
click on your windows, control panel than click on programs, uninstall program than click on mozllia maintenance than click uninstall. restart your computer should be but to normal
