  I was buying them every time the message popped up. It must default to your inventory if you don't buy them when the message pops up?

  Just keep an eye on those messages. They try to get you to buy balls when there are just a few hits left on your current ball, regardless of how many balls you have in your inventory.

  Hmm, this made me curious as to how many balls I have in total.

  I was surprised to find I have 47 different balls, not counting the free ones.  A total of 166 balls, mostly single promotional ones.  Of those 61 are my regular L33 Cally ball.

  We had a club forum post called "When to pull it?" I think you see where I'm going. That was really funny. He meant the flag of course but.
