I struggled for months with my starter clubs to get my average down so that I could earn some credits by moving to Master.  Then I spend my credits on a driver that hits 15 yards further, and low and behold, my tees are moved back at least that much.  I see the only way to get ahead of the game is by spending money on better clubs, which I will not ever do, so the game is very frustrating.  It would be nice if you stayed on the same tees for a while after earning your way to better clubs.  I can see I'll never catch up with the game. It could be a fun game if things were fair and not all about money.

    just my 2 cents worth!!

And just how would WGT make this game available to you if no one ever spent any money on it?  There are tons of offers to get free credits! I have spent 50 dollars of my own money, and have done 4 offers and I have the best clubs you can get for the level.. 50 dollars is less than the price of 1 console video game, and 10 more than a normal PC title.

Now saying that, those who have paid money into this game deserve better than we are getting for sure..  Like no advertisements, no videos before loading courses, etc.. No way in hell I should have to deal with that crap after paying for the game..But see that is where they get ya, you DON'T pay for the game, the game is free, you pay micro transactions for an "elated" experience. Therefore they can always state the game is free, what do you expect??  ala EA games and their new financial strategy.. Same thing going on with Need For Speed World right now, exactly..Game is free, yet to be competitive you must spend some money on it, yet they don't really fix anything because the game is "free".. This actually came out of one of the community managers mouths over at EA, "what do you expect for a free game?".

I agree with what both of you are saying. As  person who  played Tiger Woods online on the computer for many years  I would much rather buy the game and work on my skill level to earn credits to get FREE credits to buy clubs and balls of my choice which you never run out of once purchased. Another point is you had about 14 basic courses to start with and at last count I had about 160 course that I downloaded and worked on there site if the opponent had the same version. Also you where able to design a avatar to look anyway you wanted him or her to look, the only reason I did not go with Tiger woods 2010 is the lack of a avatar when you play so it takes friendship out of the game,I know myself I have spent much more then I ever invested in tiger woods plus every game could be played for credits which could be used for new stuff if you wanted get something. ty Jim

    Howdy Hayseed!

My hat goes off to you! Making master tier using starter equipment & starter balls is a challenge you overcame!

I spend almost all my online time in practice or match play/alternate games. I believe for a fact if I didn't use the Callaway balls or G1-SD balls with my Rapture clubs and had to play with starter balls,  i would lose probably half of my matches. You are someone to look up to!

Good luck, and I'll watch when you make tour master!!

Why not make everyone pay to play?

tell me what you do if you have 4 years playing everyday and get to legend then spend 6 months in the hospital and rehab and are stuck at 95 and have lost all those experience points and can not reach even reach 96 needing 76378 xp just to reach 96 but will never reach  1oo plus which is where you need to be competitive from the legend tees heck if the wind is your face you can not even reach the green in2 on a lot of the par  4s why does not offer the locked clubs with like a 500 or  1000  credit increase heck  they use to offered no tier clubs sales all the time but sure do not do it now.in real golf no matter how  good you are you get the same clubs the pros use plus the ability to removed some of the irons if you want a hybrid or a extra wedge as long as you are restriction of having no more then 14 clubs in your bag I bet they would see sales going off and the game would sure be more enjoyable being able to tailor your bag to the course you are playing, plus when you buy a club pastor use your free 1 it should last for 24 hours instead having to buy 1 every game if want the country club to get points why does WGT think everybody but them is made of money.best luck all. @ slow poke you really picked a good name considering the fact that you just pulled up a 6 year old thread . The player who started this thread doesnt even play anymore . Also try using some punctuation and paragraphs would also be nice . It would make your posts easier to read .The rambling doesnt make it any easier either just the way it is .

You dont have to spend money on the game thats why you earn the free credits . Do the credit offers as many other players do and get what you need .

Apart from "stuck at L95", I hope that there is something positive to tell about you, given that you probably have come closer to a healthy life in the last weeks(?) Congrats to that!!

Other than that, you have better equipment than I in every single slot of your bag, and I happen to have achieved a 65.5 average. Just follow suit!

The rest is about grinding and spending some bling-bling for our hosts - they have costs, and they need a revenue! (You might throttle down on balls to save some though)

Last but not least, what the heck is a club pastor?? - OIC, a CC pass! Tell you what: simply don't buy any - your CC will thrive from the free passes alone!
