    TyronShoelaces0:
What would you suggest in terms of a better ball?

If you want to stay on the cheap side, the Tour-SD and the Tour-G1SD are great choices. The only difference between them is the meter speed. I liked it fast so I used those Tour-SDs for a long time. They give you enough distance and spin to where you can compete quite nicely and losing one in the drink only used to cost me 25 cents.  LOL. If you want a good step above that, look at the 33 Callaways. I always thought those were an exceptional value AND they performed great.

What you want to be careful of is getting something and then not taking the time to understand it. The best way to play this game is to think of the real game. Use the same strategies and course management techniques. An earlier post mentioned hitting to places where those nice wedges come into play. A decent ball will let you control your shot way better and you won't be rolling away to 2-3 putt territory.

I am playing exclusively from an Iphone 6, btw. Not sure if that makes much of a difference.

It does if you want to play someone on a PC-they don't mesh. Your account particulars stay with you, though,  so if you find yourself in front of a PC, you can log on to WGT and be playing just like on your phone.

p.s., Stobsbee nailed the answer to your video question.  :-)

I play mobile only in Diamond 1 league. My first round each day is a practise round to get my eye in, then off to the coin rooms. I do find time management an issue as I have to play lots of head to heads to retain my league status but also fit in CC tourneys etc.

Best advice is lots of practise. Go play the best of par 5's often in practise mode, learn the best way to handle the holes then, when you're regularly getting below par, up it to ranked rounds. Throw me a challenge sometime, I'd be happy to play a few rounds with you

I play the coin rooms, no rank courses, or tourneys, and from all that I have read or been able to find, says that I can't advance to the next tier.  This month so far I have played 255 games, with 146 wins, 47 loses, and 62 ties, this gives me a 75.6 win loss percentage, so I am stuck There?

Playing in coin rooms advances you through the divisions. Check your position below the play now button.

To advance through pro, master, etc, you need to play ranked rounds to lower your average

If you look at my scoring average you will see that my average for courses is 82, explain how I went to Master?  Not saying that your wrong, but other than the coin rooms I haven't played enough to advance,,,,,,,,, but that's OK if I can't advance playing the rooms, I don't have to upgrade my clubs so I save money.  If I learn to use the free balls then I spend nothing..... thanks anyways

Wow,  want to thank the game here,  ever since I asked this,  I can't even shoot par.  Just wanted to thank you for destroying my desire to even want to play.
