I swear it seems a whole lot of my putts are not staying on line even when I ding.  I mean this jokingly but can you have a bent putter?  :)

I was able to send my bent putter in to WGT for some warranty work. Took about six to eight weeks to get back, and the postage costs were ridiculous, but I have it back now and it seems like all the kinks have been worked out.

    Hit em straight.

my putter was repaired and sent back to me as well. but what was more costly was my knee which took the brunt of the damage

A fair point by the OP.

Anyone notice the occasional putt that misses straight off the bat.

TBF. I don't go for all this avatar movement nonsense. I don't understand what people are gabbing on about. I use the miss method. Not the best granted - but posted a 29 in a RG today - so not so bad.

Maybe the miss method explains the occasional miss straight off the bat. Even if I have hit well before or after the ding.

This absolutely happens.  You can get deviations on putts just like full shots.  I had 5 misses from inside 8 feet tonight, all dinged and relatively straight but jumped right immediately off of putter.

If meter was better I'd ditch the Daytona for the Ghost in a heartbeat.  Daytona is a good combo of meter speed and accuracy but you will get the occasional deviation with it.  Used the Ghost for about 40 rounds and saw very very few deviations with it when able to ding.

Cheers Jake. I need some verification that my eyes are not deceiving me.
