    this a good question

    i buy a club for 3295 credits

i use it for a few days

i want to sell it back to wgt

OK i accept that wgt needs to make money who dosent

i am offered 75% less of the purchase price..,wgt offer me 824

ok im good with that but a bit extortionate but

i am renting software off wgt thats all

    my main point is........

DO WGT RENT THE SAME SOFTWARE they bought back off me to someone else at 3295 credits?

    Wrong POV I'm afraid.

You don't rent or buy the club or the software but you buy a (revocable) license for 3295 cr. Usually, software licenses expire or stay valid - no refund. As an exception to other companies, WGT accepts that you return the license for a refund of 824.

Your rights of use of said items will not be sold to anybody else.

Conversely, (Glass half full brigade) 25% back is pretty generous :)

Personally I think a 75% loss is a bit tough on a few days ownership, so would like to see rental periods increase for sat 5 days rather than 24 hours (and heck, pricy to rent on WGT).

This may stop the "bum buys" that we have all made and justify the high rental cost.

Basically we never own anything which for me was a tough concept...pay for something but never have anything tangible......

Ideally a diminishing value on clubs (depreciation) would probably be the fairest way, but imagine the difficulty in the programmers getting that right! Heck they cannot get many things right.....that would no doubt turn into a fiasco.

Sometimes, better to leave things alone.....

Not really. They already got you the first time and they're basically reducing what they originally earned by that 25% in the form of a buyback. The 75% is your loss but they don't gain anything from it.

LOL this was used metaphorically, as I had stated we never actually own anything. But I put my hand up....offside but not a yellow card incident...surely.
