Ok I am on hole 11 at Oakmont. I dont know what this guy is doing as I will not name names. I just want to talk about what is happening.

I have not checked this persons stats as of yet as I am in game and dont like loading as I play ( yet Im typing this LOL ) .....

Anyways we putt out on the first hole ( 9 ) and he makes a par, after making the par he gets awards out his butt... I am talking like 9 of them, This is not overly odd. But the awards he is getting is very odd.... Exp : How do you get the GOLD par award when in the same breath get the TIN in the hole award or down the drain. Which calls for you to put the ball in the hole, yet you have put the ball in the whole enough to get the gold par award.....

The list goes on. Just found it very odd, any input?

This guy had not scored a single round as a amature, pro, or tour pro before the game with me.

Not really odd.

This player ( or at least this account) hadn't played since May 2009 ... almost 2 years ago.

The Tour pro tier came about in Sept 2010.

My guess.. his avg. & number of ranked round was enough to be classed as a Tour Pro .... just the same as many who woke up one morning to find themselves Masters, Tour Masters, and Legends.

I totally understand that, But Hack to tour pro??? That is one hell of a jump for someone that has only shot a 34 on a nine twice in his life. I don't believe the small amount of games this guy has logged equals Tour pro status.

When I asked him in game about wtf he is doing, and that I thought he was " modding " wgt he gave me a lol and a " well thank you " Read into it as you wish.

He finished out the game by quitting on his last putt on 18 ( we played 9 ) With a tidy 4 putt. With the tap in still to make to score a thrilling 15 over par...

Yep sure plays like someone that has enough rounds under there belt for tour pro status

Lastly - How do we explain the Gold par's made award yet in the same putt out he got the tin in the hole award??? I'm still very lost on this.

I really don't care about it or this player. Just looking for some " hmmmmm " questions answered

Maybe life intervened ... it happens. Or maybe he/she just took a long break.

A long break would explain the award thing, too. I remember playing 9 holes once and getting a ton of awards , one right after another. I don't remember what the deal was but WGT had added a bunch of new awards or something with one update. Everyone that I play with regularly had the same thing happen if I remember right.

Those awards happen when the round is posted. Because he quits on a regular basis, before these awards are registered, he never gets credit for them so every time he tees off the cycle of awards starts again.

I just found it very retarded, I have played since 09 and I have seen a lot of WGT poop.

But that was just too weird.
