  I have always played lowest ave. player with highest ave. player,but was just told if there are 2 legends and 2 tour pros it's better to line the tiers together as it's more fair that way...Suggestions

  Personally, as a Legend, I like being paired with a lower level player. Shorter iron to the green.

  But the way I do it is even simpler. If it's my game, I pair with the first player that joins.

  And when you tee off from the back tee that lower tier partner that gave you shorter approach shots is now looking at longer shots that are not usually faced by that lower tiered partner.

  My only question about alt is why cant it be unlocked now?I think many more would play if this could happen.

  There are honest legends out there, myself being one of them. Pity I'm shite at the game though...

  I agree with Paul here. I've played about 7700 games of alternate...and I set most of the matches. I try my best to balance teams so both sides have a chance..and it generally makes for a better game. Blow outs aren't much fun for either side. 

  Mixing tiers does get interesting. I generally avoid it by selecting "legend or higher" when randoms are involved. At least we all use the same tees. If a lower tier does join the group, I look at the kit they have before I assign them a partner.
