Since the last Maxthon 5 update I have been having an ongoing problem. Maxthon 5 will randomly lock up and quit responding. The only way I can use it again is to restart my PC. As I only use Maxthon 5 for WGT it could be a WGT or flash problem but..... Maxthon Cloud and the 3 other  browsers I use work correctly. Is anyone else having this problem?

Every once in a while it becomes unresponsive. I don't restart computer though, I just kill it with task manager and it's fine after. No doubt connected to a failed Flash update issue I'm sure as the browser in anything else I do with it is fine.

One thing I've done with M5 is to shut off in preferences all the things that want to 'auto' or talk back to a server. Maxthon, since going cloud is bad for that. Doing that helped WGT play bit smoother for me.

In my last CC (Champions Gate) there was an IT person that was very knowledgeable  and told me to use Maxthon 3. In which he instructed me to go from the latest level of Maxthon and go back to #3.

It must be a stand alone browser. Close out the one you normally use and any tabs that show up using Maxthon. Only WGT should be running.

I have no problem using it. Clean your Flash, do a defrag and disc clean on your C drive.

I don't even bother with the cashe/cookie thing. Works just fine.

You can in options before you play  select  no for sound, refections, help boxes of any kind, that will help the swing meter to operate smoother also.
