    I'm an amateur... why can't I join? That doesn't seem so friendly. Doesn't sound like Paradise to me :-{

    Firstly, you're a Tourmaster????? fishy

Secondly, you are currently in a CC, as a director already. Copuld it be that you couldn't join because you have to leave the current CC first??

See.... the first thing everyone does is check a person's profile info. I proved my point about personal info...

Yes, I am a Tour Master and belong to a club I don't plan on leaving. However... why would you exclude anyone? Tour Pro is an easy level to achieve, so giving everyone the opportunity to join your club makes more sense to me. But, it's your club.

To the ID comment... I have only one account you Yankee fan who is secretly a Boston fan.

Maybe he got the IDs mixed up.  :-|

Maybe he is asking why no one below tour pro can join ?

Thank you both for pointing out the error in his assertion.

    He has never requested membership!!

Yes, we only accept players that are Master and above. That is because they have stuck with it and want to continue to get better. For them, we offer a free putter and shot pal. All we ask in return is participation in club tourneys, and play other members. Our higher tier members arevmore than willing to help you with your game.Daily play is not required nor is participation in clashes.

We are a simple club just having fun!

    Thank you , Hamish

Good luck with your "selective" CC. I on the other hand welcome Hacks to my CC knowing I will get my share of one and done's. They get culled out quickly, but I at least offer the opportunity for a starter to have some no pressure fun while enjoying the benefits that a #4 CC can offer.

Not trying to steal your thunder, but I identify with true player that wants to improve.

    Good luck to your club.

Yes... I was just questioning excluding people because of their Tier. I understand your thinking... but, I think you may be underestimating people. You and I were once less than a Master. I joined a club as a Tour Pro and I lead my club in XP's and have reached Tour Master reasonably quick. If my club had your policy, they don't know what they may have missed.

Then why did you refer to yourself as an Amateur?

The last thing I need to do is explain myself to you. Apparently, you're a little slow as I believe the original poster understands where I was going with it.

So yes... I'm at Tour Master Level and a director in my country club. My point is we don't turn people away because of their Tier. We do however drop players who don't support our club.

Ken, i think it maybe sensible to let folk advertise how they wish.

Those not happy with the clubs rules dont have to join.

This arguement/discussion should not really happen on someones advert.

Good luck with club OP...........have fun.
