I just hit a 125 nine iron into a 10 mph wind and didn't even hit it full and it went 122 yards on the fly, what gives with these inconsistencies?

Was the landing area lower than where the ball was hit?

Was the wind exactly 180° to the line of flight?

Where was the spin dot on the ball?

    charliecuzby:

Well today I had a 13 mph cross wind that did not affect my drive at all, I dinged it and it went exactly where I had aimed it.  Next shot the wind took it way left, I'm ready to give up again.

And the greens, oh my, dots barely crawling slightly right, I compensate slighty and the ball rolls way right.  These cost me 2 birdies, plus 2 shots that went nowhere at all, 2 wasted strokes.

WGT is up to their old ways, I'm not long for this game.  When I signed in and got my free balls all the shots seemed perfect, now everything is a mess again, is it fixed or what?

Hi Charlie, i had same thing happen to me as a Master/TM. It is due to the precision rating on your clubs. I had the raptures as well and played one cabo no wind RG where i had 14 approach shots dinged and they all landed 12ft either side of the pin even though i had not moved the marker.

I recently upgraded to the i15's, fast meter speed, which i am now used to, but the 4dots of precision mean the ball is always going where i tell it to, as long as i miss where i want to or ding. I honestly have not had this wtf problem since i got these 4dot precision clubs.

I don't know if the wind on here is affected by the trees, I assume it is but it does vary from course to course. St A's wind has more effect than Congressional. Mind you winds can vary between tee and green in real life too as I've often seen on my windswept course.
